We took a very quick camping trip this past weekend. Left the Valley by 6pm on Friday and were back by 1:00pm on Saturday. It seemed that nothing went right for us on the trip. It was dark when we arrived, it took forever to find an available camping spot, we had to use our headlights to look for firewood and set up the tent so our battery went dead, neither Casey nor I got more than a full hours sleep, Maddie only got about 6 hours of sleep, we spent almost 3 hours fishing with no catch and I spent 90% of the trip holding Maddie. But yet, I loved it. I'm so glad Maddie got to experience her first camping and fishing trip. She did so well, even though she was so tired the next day. Don't worry sister, we got more camping trips up our sleeves.

Wow that is a really beautiful spot! That trip would have been my last camping trip if all that happened to me! Of course I am a wuss and you are not!
See you guys are adventurous! We had a rough camping trip last summer to, but I am sure it will get better! The area looks really pretty, though.
