My wonderful friends are offering these cute aprons as an "All Things Lime" giveaway. I'm excited to try out the lime cupcakes. I've had Christie's lemon cupcakes, and they were delish to say the least.

A Week of Entertaining Four

My week in St. Johns was quite exhausting. It prepared me for life with a future four year old. Mercedes loves to stay busy. She loves the park, she loves racing, she loves playing restaurant, she loves playing dolls while giving me each and every line my doll will say.

We did so much while we were there and LOVED being outside every single day. We took many trips to the park, had daily snow cone runs, planted some flowers, took a couple trips to the new
library, played on the swing set, and just hung out with Nana and Teena.

Here are some pics of Maddie with her first snow cone. Trips in the wagon which sadly made me sore. Raheem enjoying Teena time. Mercedes with a blue raspberry smile. Nana chillin' with Oscar. Nana's sidekicks, Grandma and Oscar. And finally dinner time with the whole gang.

Woods Canyon Lake

We took a very quick camping trip this past weekend. Left the Valley by 6pm on Friday and were back by 1:00pm on Saturday. It seemed that nothing went right for us on the trip. It was dark when we arrived, it took forever to find an available camping spot, we had to use our headlights to look for firewood and set up the tent so our battery went dead, neither Casey nor I got more than a full hours sleep, Maddie only got about 6 hours of sleep, we spent almost 3 hours fishing with no catch and I spent 90% of the trip holding Maddie. But yet, I loved it. I'm so glad Maddie got to experience her first camping and fishing trip. She did so well, even though she was so tired the next day. Don't worry sister, we got more camping trips up our sleeves.
